find your sole in PUTNAM TOWNSHIP

Election Inspector

Exercise your civic muscles! We have positions available if you are interested in working at an upcoming election. This is a great way to serve your community, learn about voter registration laws and to get an insider's view of how an election works. You'll be paid for training and for the time you work (per diem). The link in the green box entitled Election Day Management Videos, provides information about precinct activities, closing procedures and other resources. We hope you find them helpful in deciding if you'd like to work an election; or for current workers, the videos can be a valuable tool to help you become reacquainted with election day procedures and requirements.

If you are interested in working at an election, please fill out the Election Inspector Application (link in the green box) and return it to the Clerk's office via email at deputyclerk@putnamtwp.us. The application can also be dropped off at the Township Hall. If appointed, you will be required to take a 2½ hour certification class, every two years, which is administered by the Livingston County Clerk's office.
